What it is
Otter Cove is not a game so much as a small place to visit. There is no score, no streak, and nothing to fail. Pebble and Pip live in a quiet stretch of river; you can offer a clam, start a game, brush a coat, or send someone off for a nap.
Left to themselves the otters roam, meet in the middle, float asleep on their backs, and hold paws so they do not drift apart — which lifts both of their moods without you touching the screen. It is the emotional centre of the app, and it happens on its own.

Features
- No scores, no fail states. Nothing here punishes you. Care meters drift, and that is all they do.
- Coming back is never a penalty. Offline decay is capped at eight hours, so a week away looks the same as a night away.
- Two otters with their own lives. Pebble and Pip wander independently, and their shared moments are theirs, not a reward you unlock.
- Hand-drawn calm. Portrait art, soft blended pose transitions, and a staged drift-roll-and-settle before the linked-paw rest.
- Everything stays on your device. Care state is written to local app storage. No account, no server, no sign-in.
How Otter Cove will be sold
No third-party ads and no subscription. The game may promote other LynchPin Games titles. The free edition is a real, replayable game; one main non-consumable in-app purchase permanently unlocks the paid gameplay content. The exact split between free and paid gameplay is shown inside the game before you buy anything.
Optional cosmetic packs may be sold separately in the future and are not included in the gameplay unlock. They change appearance only and provide no gameplay advantage. Each pack will show its contents and price before purchase, with no randomised rewards. All purchases are permanent and can be restored on devices signed in to the same store account.
